Role Overview: The Procurement & Logistics Officer is tasked with planning and timely delivery of goods and services for the AYIA Project. This role requires a solid understanding of CARE Afghanistan (AFG) and donor procurement policies, as well as knowledge of vendors, market dynamics, and system updates. Responsibilities include preparing procurement files (such as PR, RFQ, SBA, Technical Evaluation Reports, Scoring Sheets, Selection Memos, and PO) in the PeopleSoft system to ensure compliance with all CARE AFG and donor procurement protocols.
All CARE team members are expected to uphold Safety & Security responsibilities, with a focus on individual and team accountability, and adhere to policies related to Gender, Inclusion, Safeguarding, and Child Protection.
Educational Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or Economics is required, with a preference for candidates holding a BBA.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
