Job Description:

1- Administration

  • Receive and respond to requests and inquiries from the Government.
  • Manage all travel arrangements for RHDO staff within the province.
  • Oversee office space maintenance, repairs, and utilization, ensuring all offices maintain a professional appearance.
  • Track incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Ensure proper functioning and upkeep of equipment, facilities, and services.
  • Ensure timely compliance with all administrative reporting requirements.
  • Organize and coordinate office-wide events, including meetings, presentations, holiday celebrations, and other gatherings.
  • Identify administrative and office management challenges promptly and report them to supervisors.
  • Handle communication with the landlord regarding lease agreement changes and provide advance notice when required.

2- Finance

  • Adhere to the Financial Handbook, RHDO policies, and donor and auditor requirements.
  • Implement RHDO’s financial systems, routines, and procedures.
  • Maintain budget control and monitor cash flow.
  • Provide regular financial analyses and reports.
  • Implement anti-corruption policies.
  • Develop holistic, needs-based programs, including cash-based and market-based interventions.
  • Submit field office tax reports to Kabul Finance on schedule.
  • Submit timely financial reports for projects as per donor formats and directives.
  • Maintain transparent, accurate, and clear financial records.
  • Verify and approve financial transactions.
  • Develop strategies to minimize financial risk.
  • Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial reports, budgets, accounts, and statements.
  • Prepare payroll and ensure timely payment of salaries and remunerations.
  • Conduct strategic analysis and assist with finance department strategic planning.
  • Develop and manage financial systems/models.
  • Conduct business modeling and risk assessments.
  • Facilitate external audit processes.
  • Apply the project coding system accurately.
  • Prepare monthly financial project reports.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency between budget lines and expenditures.
  • Monitor and control expenditures.

Responsibilities

Job Requirements:

  • At least a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or Social Sciences.
  • 3-4 years of experience in a similar role, involving data collection, documentation, PDMs, and reporting.
  • Proven experience in creating high-quality documents for various audiences and managing emergency, humanitarian, and protection monitoring information management systems.
  • Proficiency in collecting, analyzing, and producing high-quality data, information tables, and reports.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks is required.
