Business Development Officer

Herat Full Time Based on WASSA salary's Scale

Job Description

  • Prepare regular reports on activities related to financial literacy, business knowledge, and numeracy training.
  • Strengthen existing business relationships and establish new partnerships.
  • Evaluate women entrepreneurs’ learning progress with assessment tools at the start of each session.
  • Foster a disciplined yet motivating environment to support women entrepreneurs in reaching established goals.
  • Ensure a safe and conducive learning environment during all training sessions.
  • Promote sales efforts through targeted business development activities with companies or individuals.
  • Assist sales teams by preparing reports and presentations to support their activities.
  • Contribute to special projects and additional tasks as needed.
  • Identify and research new business opportunities, conduct initial research, create proposals, negotiate, and close deals.
  • Improve communication with beneficiaries (BNFs) through established channels.
  • Ensure organizational targets are met consistently.

Responsibilities

  • Strong community coordination abilities.
  • Knowledge of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs).
  • Skilled in negotiation and positive collaboration with others.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Proficient in report writing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in business development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience in delivering training sessions.
