Kabul Full Time Assignment Based

Job Description

The Consultant Education Trainer will be responsible for creating pedagogy training materials, developing PowerPoint presentations, and delivering a 10-day training session. The role also includes conducting a pre-test, completing a training evaluation rubric, and submitting a comprehensive training report.

This short-term assignment is ideally suited for individuals with experience in leading and delivering training sessions in education, particularly in pedagogy and methodology.

Generic Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to Street Child's vision, mission, and values.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures of Street Child.
  • Represent Street Child professionally in both internal and external contexts.
  • Fulfill all reasonable requests within the scope of the role.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Conduct foundational teacher training in consultation with the Education Projects Manager.
  • Train participants on teaching methodologies, lesson planning, assessments, classroom management, task development, and techniques for creating homework assignments, as well as motivation skills and effective feedback.
  • Provide all relevant materials (manuals, presentations, and reference videos) in a format that is directly usable by teachers in the field.
  • Develop training materials and presentation content.
  • Create and administer pre-test questionnaires.
  • Prepare and submit a training completion report.
  • Carry out any additional relevant tasks as assigned by the line manager.

Responsibilities

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Science, Psychology, Law, Political Science, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree or additional certification in the field is advantageous.
  • At least 4 years of experience in leading and delivering education-related trainings, preferably focused on pedagogy and teaching methodologies.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and national languages.
  • Strong report writing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Capability to work effectively within a diverse team.
  • Initiative-driven with the ability to work independently without close supervision.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to collaborate as part of a team.
