Job Description

  • Collaborate with the project medical doctor to develop a detailed plan for field activities.
  • Identify and assess children, women, and girls in targeted communities who require psychosocial support.
  • Organize and conduct field meetings with CDC heads, women leaders, parents, and other beneficiaries.
  • Deliver psychosocial training sessions as per pre-developed plans in target communities.
  • Utilize or establish a referral and case management system for cases requiring additional psychosocial support or other services.
  • Provide culturally relevant psychosocial support at individual, family, and community levels.
  • Conduct group-based psychosocial activities tailored to meet specific needs and capacities of different groups.
  • Work in collaboration with faith leaders and relevant authorities when needed to plan and execute psychosocial activities within centers and communities.
  • Support social mobilizers in conducting awareness sessions for project beneficiaries.

Perform any other project-related tasks as assigned by the project officer.

Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience, especially in mental health, with international NGOs, public hospitals, or other reputable organizations.
  • Proven experience in staff management, public outreach or counseling, community mobilization, and coordination with stakeholders.
