Job Summary

The selected candidate will oversee the comprehensive management of the project, providing essential support and guidance to ensure all project deliverables are completed within the designated timeframe.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate all project activities efficiently.
  • Organize and conduct meetings with key stakeholders to facilitate project progress.
  • Engage regularly with on-site teams to discuss, design, and strategize community outreach efforts.
  • Ensure timely development of work plans, budget forecasts, and activity schedules.
  • Compile and submit project-related reports promptly to the Program Manager and relevant donors.
  • Maintain adequate project staffing, with clear roles, responsibilities, and reporting lines for all team members.
  • Standardize job descriptions for all project staff, updating them regularly to align with project needs.
  • Monitor project budget and expenditures closely to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Ensure staff receive sufficient training to meet job expectations and project goals.
  • Participate in relevant cluster coordination meetings, sharing insights and updates with other agencies.
  • Translate project-related documents when necessary to support effective communication.
  • Conduct field visits as needed to oversee project implementation.
  • Organize orientation workshops to onboard and guide project staff effectively.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor as needed to support project objectives.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • A university degree in Medical Sciences, Social Sciences, Management, or Development Studies. Preference is given to candidates with PMP certification or a postgraduate degree.

Experience & Skills:

  • 4 to 5 years of experience in management, coordination, reporting, training organization, and project oversight.
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, humanities, or related social sciences.
  • Proficiency in speaking and writing Dari, Pashto, and English.
  • Familiarity with computers and standard office software packages.
  • A strong commitment to supporting women’s and girls’ rights, safety, and empowerment, as well as enhancing their access to resources and services.
  • Maintains a positive, professional attitude with the capability to lead and collaborate within a team environment.
  • Ability to discuss sensitive topics with respect, empathy, and a high level of professionalism.
  • Knowledge of community outreach and mobilization practices.
  • Experience in monitoring and evaluation, including brief report writing and data management.
  • Willingness and ability to travel, with prior experience in remote management.
  • Strong planning and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
